Youtube link for mobile viewing Not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, and we just had to share this one.  BlackBerry fanatic, Mobile Nations chief media officer, and all around wild-and-crazy guy  CrackBerry Kevin bought one of the most expensive apps in BlackBerry's app catalouge — a $500 bit 'o code that places a clock on the homescreen.  Yes, it's a $500 clock widget.  Nobody is telling whether or not there was any Campari involved, but it's certainly possible.  I'll let Kevin tell his side of the story himself. CM9 for the HP TouchPad gets previewed, still work to be done

Youtube link for mobile viewing With webOS heading towards being open sourced and it's overall future still unknown, the HP TouchPad is still living it up on the Android side of things as a lot of folks have adopted the device as an Android tablet by running CyanogenMod 7 and now we're getting a preview of the ICS based CyanogenMod 9 running on it. It's still a bit off from being complete and as such few things are still broken but hey the HP TouchPad may see CM9 before many official Android tablets see ICS. Alleged Sprint LTE speed test video surfaces; 40Mbps speeds from a Huawei hotspot

Youtube link for mobile viewing What's allegedly a set of speed tests of a computer using a Huawei-made LTE hotspot running on Sprint's LTE network has surfaced.  There's not a lot of detail, but we see speeds of over 40M/sec download and 5M/sec upload, and very nice ping times.  The tester appears to be somewhere around the Houston area, and very close to an LTE tower he doesn't have to share with anyone.  He certainly achieves cable modem style network speed, and that should make more than a few of us happy.  Check out the video, we think you'll like what you see.
